Our collection of courses for the orientation training of Delaware Assisted Living Resident Assistants is designed to meet the requirements stated in Section 3225-16.0 - Staffing of the Delaware Administrative Code.
This collection contains 11 courses, totalling 12.5 hours of training, covering topics stated in the regulations, including professionalism and ethics, assisting with ADLs and iADLs, emergency response, infection control, food safety, basic first aid, an overview of the physical, emotional, and developmental characteristics of the population served, patients’ rights, the reporting of elder abuse, and an overview of hospice care.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create an effective, and easy to understand, orientation training program for your Delaware-based Assisted Living Resident Assistant team.
