Our collection of courses for the orientation training of New Hampshire Home Care Service Provider Agencies, Personal Care Attendant Service Providers is designed to meet the training requirements in Section He-W 552.07 - Training Requirements, Section He-P 822.17 - Personnel, and Section 151:48 - Initial and Continuing Training in Dementia Required of the New Hampshire Administrative Code.
This collection contains 18 courses, totalling 20.5 hours of training, including 6 hours of dementia training, and covers a number of topics required by New Hampshire state regulations including, patients’ rights, the role of personal care staff, communication, emergency response, infection control, assistance with ADLs, safe transfers, nutrition and hydration, falls prevention, assistance with medication self-administration, reporting and documentation, and the reporting of elder abuse. This collection also contains 6 hours of dementia training including, an introduction to dementia care, person-centered dementia care, the symptoms and causes of dementia, assisting dementia patients with activities of daily living, and the psychological, social, and physical needs of people with dementia.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create an engaging, and easy to understand, orientation training program for your New Hampshire-based Personal Care Attendant Services team.
