This collection contains 11 courses, totalling 12 hours of training, as required by Pennsylvania state regulations, and covers a number of topics including, the needs of the clients in the center's target population, body mechanics/transfer techniques, reporting laws regarding elder abuse and neglect, positive methods to manage behavior, the aging process, professionalism and ethics, infection control, emergency response, documentation and incident reporting, methods for assisting patients to achieve maximum self-reliance, and a course on managing caregiver burnout.
