Our collection of courses for the initial training of Virginia Residential Living Care Facility, Direct Care Staff, is designed to meet the requirements stated in 22VAC40-73-110. Staff general qualifications of Virginia’s Administrative Code.
This collection contains 13 courses, totalling 14.5 hours of training as required by Virginia state regulations, and covers a number of topics including, patient’s rights, confidentiality, the reporting of elder abuse, infection control, emergency response, incident reporting, and includes 4 hours of training on dementia-related topics. The collection is broken down into two sections; the first section must be required in the first seven working days, while the remainder must be completed before the end of the first year of employment.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create an effective, and easy to understand, orientation training program for your Virginia-based Residential Living Care, Direct Care Staff.
