Course Description

The course provides a fundamental understanding of the human body and how its various systems work together to maintain health and well-being. It is designed for caregivers who wish to expand their knowledge and understanding of the human body. The course will explore each of the body systems, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, and musculoskeletal systems, and how these are affected by aging. The course will also cover the immune system and its role in protecting the body from disease. Caregivers will gain a better understanding of how to support the health and well-being of those in their care.
