Course Description
The Fatal Four course is designed to provide caregivers with essential knowledge about the four leading causes of preventable deaths and injuries among people with developmental disabilities. These causes include aspiration, constipation, dehydration, and seizures. By understanding the risk factors, signs, and symptoms of these conditions, caregivers can effectively identify, prevent, and manage these potentially life-threatening situations. This course aims to enhance the quality of care for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
