Our collection of courses for the in service training of Mississippi Personal Care Home Direct Care Staff is designed to meet the requirements stated in Rule 23-208-2.3 - Provider Qualifications of the Mississippi Administrative Code, and Section 483.95 - Training requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations.
This collection contains 11 courses, totalling 12.5 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, communication, residents’ rights, the reporting of elder abuse, infection control, emergency response, reporting and documentation, incident reporting, behavioral supports, working with clients with challenging behaviors, an introduction to dementia care, and intellectual development disabilities.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create an effective, and engaging, in service training program for your MIssissippi-based Direct Care team.
