Our collection of courses for the initial training of Personal Care Assistants in Georgia, is designed to meet the requirements stated in Rule 111-8-65-.09 Administration and Organization of Georgia’s Rules & regulations for Private Home Care Providers.
This collection contains 36 courses, totalling 40 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, ambulation and transfer of clients, range of motion and positioning, assistance with ADLs and iADLs, basic first aid, caring for clients with special conditions and needs, home management, infection prevention and control, observation and reporting, measuring vital signs, proper nutrition, and dementia care. Please note that while our Basic First Aid course does cover CPR, completion of the course does not provide a CPR certification.
