Our collection of courses for the initial training of Assisted Living Facility Direct Care Workers in Georgia, is designed to meet the requirements stated in Rule 111-8-63-.09 - Workforce Qualifications, Training and Staffing of Georgia’s Rules & Regulations for Assisted Living Communities
This collection contains 21 courses, totalling 24 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, residents’ rights, basic first aid and cpr, the characteristics of the medical and social needs of the resident population, standard precautions, caring for residents with special needs, dementia care, ambulation and transfers, nutrition, assistance with self-medication, and more. Please note that while our Basic First Aid course does cover CPR, completion of the course does not provide a CPR or Basic First Aid certification.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create the ideal initial training program for your Georgia-based Assisted Living Community, Direct Care Worker team.
