Our collection of courses for the orientation training of Homemakers in Georgia is designed to align with the requirements stated in Section 306 Homemaker Service Requirements of the Georgia Administrative Code.
This collection contains 20 courses, totalling 21.5 hours of training, and covers a number of topics including, the reporting of elder abuse, changes in body conditions that must be reported, ethics, professionalism, clients’ rights, observation, reporting and documentation, communication, caring for clients and their families, the aging process and working with older adults, assisting with ADLs and iADLs, intellectual development disabilities, an introduction to dementia care, nutrition and hydration, meal preparation for clients, feeding clients with swallowing difficulties, basic housekeeping, home management, safety and emergencies, and infection control.
This collection can be used as is, or combined with any of our other courses to create a customized orientation training program for your Georgia-based Homemaker team.
